What is the Environment Your Presentation Will Occur in?

The question to start with is what is the presentation? Is it a visual stand-still, an audio-and-visual movie, or just music? Are you selling a product?
Another thing to consider with the presentation is the environment you are in: Is this the outdoors? Is it a larger stadium? Your small classroom?

When these first two questions are answered, then it is valuable to look into these key factors:
– Loudness of the Voice (If Used)
– Display Back-Ups
– Audience Amount
– Interacting Colors

Loudness of the Voice (If Used)
It’s good to know how your actual voice functions and if it is in fact better to use technology with your voice.
For instance, will you need a microphone?
Would you rather record your voice in the presentation?

Display Back-Ups
If you can, make use of the environment you’re in!
Are you able to get brochures, business cards, tabletop brochure displays, or a branded tablecloth?
Is there a chance you can have the creativity yourself to draw on the board or have a stand-up display you can DIY?

Audience Amount
This obviously effects the volume of your voice and how widespread you can get your presentation out.
Also, the larger the audience, if they can take home something with them and you catch their attention, you will get an even larger audience with word-of-mouth.

Interacting Colors
Sometimes, the season is the reason for different colors.
And deciding on how you can work with colors is a matter of taste, season, AND the presentation.
Researching what colors will work together can help, especially if you know the source you are looking up to has the eye for matching colors together.
